The **MKM Flame Drop FL01** is a cool and fancy pocket knife, designed by Michael Zieba. This American designer is known for his elegant designs. The Flame is an excellent example. The MKM Flame is based on his custom MS3 flipper.



When you hold the MKM Flame you immediately notice how slim, light-weight and refined this knife actually is. The sleek lines look amazing and ensure that it will easily slide into your pocket. You quickly open the knife with the flipper. This is truly impressive for such a compact pocket knife. The blade is locked by a solid framelock with steel insert.



The great thing about this production version of this Zieba design is that MKM also added the typical Zieba screws to this design. They make this pocket knife feel a little more 'custom', but for a more affordable price.



The blade is made from Böhler M390 Steel. A more than excellent type of steel that retains its sharpness for a really long time. As such you only rarely have to sharpen your knife, which is great for the life of the blade as well.



The MKM Flame comes with a storage case.

The knife itself is well built, the quality of the material is excellent, but the finish of the frame lock is very poor, not what you would expect from such a knife. You literally have to press the lock mechanism with force as the blade and lock overlap
