The **Medford Praetorian Slim** is a very slim version of the most famous pocket knife produced by Medford Knives. You can clearly see the characteristic shapes of the Praetorian, but in a more EDC-friendly cover. 100% made in the United States, from American materials, by a veteran-run company. 

The slim CPM S45VN steel blade has a hand-sharpened hollow grind. This is a unique feature: only few producers apply a hollow grind by hand. With the thumb slot you can easily open the blade. At first this might take some getting used to. When opened a solid framelock keeps the blade in place. Medford pressed the stop-pin in the blade. As a result it symmetrically leans against the handle. This adds strength. The knife also contains a lockbar stabilizer that prevents the framelock from overstretching.

CPM S45VN is a premium, stainless type of steel. For years this has been one of the most popular types of steel on the market. It is, for stainless steel, rather tough and relatively easy to sharpen. A special detail is the glass breaker on the spine of the blade.

Each Medford knife is made by hand by talented knife makers. Individual differences therefore occur and make each knife unique. Knives that are available on our website are in stock and can immediately be shipped. So make sure you don't miss out: it might take a while for new stock to arrive!
