Le couteau est de très bonne facture, matériaux et mécanique de très bonnes qualités.
Il coupe toujours redoutablement bien, nous  sommes devenu inséparable.
Très bon service de la part de Knivesandtools, j’ai reçus le colis deux jours après la commande.

's Morgens was er een aankondiging van kortingsactie(8%)van K&T in de mail. 
Eindelijk de kans om een van de drie Fällkniven messen te bestellen die ik al een eeuwigheid op het oog had. 
Zoeken, kijken wat de 'schade' bij de verschillende modellen zou zijn na aftrek van de korting. Nu nog kiezen. Eerst maar even boodschappen doen, want kiezen blijft moeilijk.
Na terugkomst had K&T het keuzeprobleem voor mij opgelost. Er was tijdens mijn boodschappen een subtiele prijsverhoging van ruim 20% bij de Fällkniven modellen opgetreden. Zo'n 'dealbreaker' had ik al eens eerder ondervonden bij Zero Tolerance en in iets mindere mate bij Böker.
Klaar! Niets aan te doen. Toch maar even de irritaties uitspreken.
Mijn wensenlijst is echter lang en deze Mcusta stond daar ook hoog op. Iets handzamer dan de Tactility, 'tip down carry' en Damascus uitvoering (omdat die vaak iets symmetrischer geslepen zijn).
Dit is een geweldig mes. Het had alle ruimte verdiend die ik hier heb gebruikt om melding te maken van mijn teleurstelling.
Ik kan iedereen deze Basic Folder aanraden. Zoals iemand anders al eens opmerkte 'Er is niets "basics" aan', even mooi uitgevoerd en afgewerkt als alle Mcusta's.   
 

Mooi degelijk mes, ziet er net en elegant uit.



Heb dit mes al enkele maanden in bezit en maak er dagelijks veel gebruik van. Prachtig damast lemmet, erg stevig, is nog altijd heel scherp. De pocketclip laat het mes idd. helemaal in de broekzak verdwijnen. Wanneer opengeklapt zit het mes stevig in de hand, geen belemmering voor mensen met grote handen. Het mes heeft een nette en degelijke uitstraling en is snel in gebruik. Ik heb zo het vermoeden dat dit mes een lange tijd mee gaat, kortom: een aanrader.
