The **LT Wright Gary Wines Bushcrafter** is, as the name already suggests, an excellent bushcraft knife. Designed in cooperation with Gary Wines. A former SAS soldier who produces excellent knives for demanding users worldwide.



The shapes of the Gary Wines Bushcrafter are simple, but effective. The straight handle ensures that you can hold it in many different ways for different cutting techniques. The spine of the blade is sharpened to make sure you can easily use a firesteel or scrape tinder.



This version of the LT Wright Gary Wines Bushcrafter is enhanced with a scandi grind. To make sure the edge is extra sustainable, and better equipped to handle heavy-duty use, LT Wright enhanced the Scandi edge with a micro-bevel. A minimal secondary edge, like on the cutting edge. As such the knife retains its sharpness and won't easily chip.



The extra attention paid to the construction of this knife has truly paid off. The handle is attached with strong pins for a mechanical construction. LT Wright combined it with naval grade epoxy. As such the construction is even more solid. Ready to be used!



## Blade made from O1 tool steel.


O1 is a tough type of steel that is incredibly strong and easy to sharpen. Even when you are out in the field with limited means. Compared to 1075 steel it retains its sharpness better. Do, however, be careful: O1 steel is not completely stainless. As such it will discolour in time and form a patina. To avoid rust you need to clean it after use and occasionally add a couple drops of oil.



 The comfortable handle is made from micarta. A strong and light-weight material, made from linen and synthetic resin. Feels comfortable in hand, even in wet or cold circumstances.



This knife comes with a top-quality leather sheath.

LT Wright Knives is an American outdoor brand. At LT Wright Knives they still largely work in an old-fashioned way. By hand 'grinds' or 'bevels' are added to the blades, the handles are glued together and shaped, and even the entire knife is finished by hand. This means that there can be subtle differences between the different versions of the same knife. Both in terms of finish and size. This is also the charm of LT Wright Handcrafted Knives: each knife is unique. It also means that sometimes it is difficult to keep all knives in stock. But the models that are labelled as 'in stock' on our website, are in stock and can immediately be delivered.
