The **Kershaw Siege** is a convenient and versatile axe that will come in handy when camping or when you just need brute force! The cutting edge is 10.3 cm long and the back of the axe head can also pierce through things with its sharp point. The handle can be used as a crowbar and at the end it has a nail puller. The FRN handle feels pretty nice through the K-grip Texture grip pattern.



The *Kershaw 1073 Siege* comes with a simple nylon belt sheath.

Degelijke tomahawk voor zijn prijs.
Ligt goed in de hand, fijn gripmateriaal.
OK, geen carbon staal, maar 2CR13 wordt zwaar onderschat gewoon omdat het uit China komt.
Bovendien fulltang dus geen gevaar op brekende kunststofhandle zoals bij andere producten in deze prijsklasse.
Ook heel snel geleverd!

De Kershaw Siege wordt geleverd in een blisterverpakking waarbij de bijl niet in het bijgeslopten nylon foudraal zit. Bij aankomst was de bijl door de blisterverpakking heen geschoven tijdens het transport. Enige voorzichtigheid bij het verder uitpakken is dan ook aan te raden. 
De bijl zelf is duurder dan vergelijkbare tomahawks op Kato maar is in tegenstelling met de goedkopere exemplaren van een full tang steel voorzien. De Kershaw Siege voelt stevig aan en boort zich diep in bvb een boomstronk.  De bijl voelt stevig aan en heeft ruim voldoende gewicht om kracht aan de slag te geven.
De handgreep van FRN heeft een textuur om de grip te verbeteren maar is overal even dik en niet echt ergonomisch. Ik had graag gezien dat ze naar de achterzijde wat dikker was gemaakt om betere houvast te bieden bij krachtige slagen. 
De nageltrekker/breekijzer is een extra feature dat slechts sporadisch gebruikt zal worden.
