This **Kai knife set** is comprised of three knives from the Wasabi collection: the Santoku, a utility knife with a 15 cm blade and a utility knife with a 10 cm blade. The santoku can be used to cut, crush and scoop meat, fish and vegetables. Both utility knives can be used for the fine cutting tasks. Because of its all-round shape you use it finely chop herbs, cutting vegetables into shapes or even to clean meat.

 Kai is known for its top-quality Kai Shun kitchen knives. With this Kai Wasabi collection, this quality is now also available for an affordable price.

 ## Kai Wasabi blade

 The stainless steel blade made from Daido 1K6 steel has a thin grind and is hardened to a hardness of 58 HRC. Because the knife doesn't have a crop you can use the entire edge. This also makes it easier to sharpen.

 ## Kai Wasabi handle

 The handle is made from a combination of bamboo powder and polypropylene. As such the handle is durable and waterproof.
