Bij het ontvangen van het mes was de eerste indruk teleurstellend.Het heft maakt ronduit een goedkope indruk.De reserve schalen in een andere kleur staan zelfs bol en krom.Met name door heft ontstaat een "goedkope "indruk.
Het lemmet daarentegen is van uitstekende kwaliteit.De scherpte blijft bij een lange stand tijd.En het mes word scherp geleverd.Met een houten heft ( 2 schalen ) was  de beoordeling uitstekend geworden .De mogelijkheid om een houten heft te bestellen ( nabestellen ) is hier zeer wenselijk.Als ik kijk naar mijn  2 lion messen die eerder zijn gekocht : blijft de eerste indruk geheel anders, namelijk robuust en van professionele kwaliteit .Jammer dat een dergelijk mes met een zo goedkoop heft wordt geleverd.Me name de kwaliteit van het lemmet , verdient beter .Nu raad ik dit mes af.Verder snel en correct geleverd
