The **Gerber Processor Salt, Fishing Take-A-Part Shears 31-003554** is a robust pair of fishing scissors that can be disassembled. As such the Processor is easy to clean and maintain.


Gerber made use of every part of the scissors. With no less than four sharpened parts this pair of scissors can handle almost anything. The gut hook is great when opening fish. With the scraper you can remove the scales, after which you use the fin-cutter to remove the fins. Finally, the sharp parts of the scissors can be used to fillet the fish or cut it into pieces. The handle is made from multiple materials. TPE: thermoplastic elastomer and FRN: glass reinforced nylon. Both materials provide you with enough grip in humid surroundings. 


This version is part of the Salt collection and can be recognized by the blue handle. The products from the Salt collection are mostly suited for use in areas with salt water. Like at sea or on the beach. Gerber enhanced these knives with SALT Rx. This is a coating on the steel that reduces the chance of corrosion even more.
