The handle of this Deejo pocket knife is made from African coralwood. This type of wood is also called Padauk. It is a beautiful amber-coloured wood that originates in the forests of Africa. This tree can grow 50 metres tall, with a crown of 30 metres. The wood has a distinctive warm orange-red colour, making it one of the most unusual trees on earth. This colour is also called coral red, hence the name Coralwood.
