The **CRKT Persevere** is a practical outdoor axe head that you can turn into an axe during a survival situation. As a result you won’t have to bring a large axe with handle on your hike, but are still able to make an axe with a solid green branch. In addition, the Persevere is great as axe, knife, chisel, wedge or adze (primitive tool).


The head is made from 65Mn steel. An incredibly tough type of steel that can easily be sharpened. The head has been enhanced with a couple of holes that enable you to turn the head into an axe. How exactly you should do that is hard to explain, but the video will definitely make it a little easier. In the video inventor Chuck Cook demonstrates how you can assemble everything within 5 minutes.


In addition to an axe head you will receive one pin, two wedges and a piece of paracord. You can store everything in the nylon belt sheath.
