CRKT Akari fixed knife-2480

Lucas Burnley has designed the CRKT Akari, which is an fixed knife of a decent size. This knife exudes Japanese tradition. The handle is made of neon-green faux stingray leather, also called shagreen. Japanese swords have been made with shagreen for over centuries used. The structure this gives great grip. Burnley has chosen for a neon-green copy of this natural product. The CRKT Akari is the brother of the CRKT Achi. Both are sharpened “blank” from the same metal, only the Achi has the cut on the hollow side, where the Akari has it on the rounded side of the blade. The blade has a TiNitride coating on which a playful pattern is etched.
