The Cold Steel Ultimate Hunter is a very nice and solid pocket knife. The knife is designed by Andrew Demko and looks a lot like his own custom knives. Cold Steel has equipped the knife with the very firm Tri-Ad loc. It prevents the blade from snapping shut during use. The blade is made of American CTS-XHP steel and the handle is made out of G10.

Een van de mooiste cold steel vouwmessen die er is vind ik. zeer solide bouw en prachtig afgewerkt. dit is een mes die ook gewaardeerd word door mensen die niet zo van dit merk houden. Heeft een veel minder agressieve look en de details zijn in alle opzichten perfect. uiteraard krijg je dan het tri ad lock erbij...dus je vinger zijn volledig veilig, ook als je met dit mes flink aan het werk gaat. voelt prettig in de hand, ook na langere tijd hout snijden. mes heeft een flinke "belly" dus veel snij oppervlak. In sommige opzichten doet dit mes me denken aan de custom mesen van andrew demko, alleen een "light versie"..momenteel is het mijn favoriete EDC..mensen flippen ook niet direct wanneer je hem uit je foedraal haalt wat met andere cold steel messen nog wel eens gebeurd. het is echt een heel mooi en sterk mes...punt. enige lastige vind ik dat je hem moeilijk uit elkaar kan halen als je wilt onderhouden, maar kreeg hem wel ver genoeg open om te olieen en schoon te naken bij slot. garantie is dan miss wel weg...maar ik weet zeker dat ik die nooit nodig ga hebben. de constructie is dermate simpel...wat kan er überhaupt kapot. oh ja...het xhp staal lijkt een verbetering tov aus 8. blijft goed scherp ook na gebruik en is door CS en Knives and tools super scherp geleverd. woensdag bestellen, donderdag binnen..perfecte service weer

Super mooi mes, erg scherp afgeleverd ( weet mijn duim alles van) en ligt goed in de hand. Oke, mes is vrij duur maar je krijgt er wel wat moois en goeds voor terug. Ik had een twijfel over wat voor mes ik zou nemen, hierbij ben ik erg goed en geduldig geholpen door de medewerkers. verder nette en snelle aflevering. Van meerdere orders hebben ze ( zonder vraag van mijn kant) één order gemaakt en de bezorg kosten terug gestort. Mocht ik nog wat nodig hebben zal ik in het vervolg eerst bij Knives and Tools kijken!!!!
