The **Case Medium Stockman** is a real classic in the pocket knife world. This pattern is almost as old as the entire category of Traditionals. This Case Stockman is a very pure incarnation of this classic model. It has three blades: a clippoint blade as *main blade*, a 5.0 cm sheepsfoot blade and, of course, the for Stockman almost indispensable Spey-blade. This is a spearpoint with a sort of blunt tip. Originally this type of shape was used to gut game.

 When opened the three blades are kept in place by a slipjoint lock. Because Case uses two lock-springs to keep three blades in place it is inevitable that the blades are located close together and can even touch each other when closed. This is a part of the design of the blade and also gives it, its authentic charm.

 This Medium version is similar to the normal Stockman. The only difference is that the Medium Stockman has slightly less higher blades. As a result the whole is a little slimmer.

 This is a special edition which comes in a luxurious gift box. The knife is enhanced with an insert which keeps the blades opened to make sure you can easily display the Case Medium Stockman. Once sold out it won't return: while stocks last.

 ## Case Tru-Sharp SS steel

 The blade is made from Case Tru-Sharp SS. This is a stainless type of steel that is similar to 420HC steel. Characterizing about this type of steel is that you can quickly sharpen it and have a razor-sharp knife.

 ## Antique Jigged Bone handle

 The handle is made from *Antique Jigged Bone*. This is basically cow bone that is enhanced with an interesting texture. Afterwards it is enhanced with a nice colour and polished. This Antique version looks dozens of years old. This is a truly classic type of handle material which radiates class and elegance. It nicely matches the Case knives. In this case a standard Jigged texture was added.
