This **Camp Chef maintenance product for cast iron** is the best way to 'season' your cast iron Dutch Ovens, grill racks, baking sheets, casseroles or other cast iron products. This conditioner, made from natural oils, leaves behind a clean surface food won't easily stick to. A non-stick coating without the chemicals! This conditioner also ensures that he pan won't rust if you don't use it for a longer period of time. 

## How to use the Camp Chef Cast Iron Conditioner

Put some conditioner on your hand or a piece of cloth and rub it all over the entire surface of the cast iron pan. Afterwards use a clean piece of cloth to remove any excess conditioner. What remains is a thin, natural non-stick coating. 

Do you often use the cast iron pan over an open flame? If so, you don't have to apply the coat on the outside of the pan. We recommend covering the entire the pan if you are planning not to use it for a while.

The cast iron conditioner is temperature sensitive. In cooler temperatures, the conditioner can therefore become thicker. By heating the tube in your hands or in hot water you soften the conditioner. If the bottle ever gets clogged, use a small nail to remove the blockage.
