The Buck Rush is an American pocket knife with assisted opening. This means that the blade is helped by a spring when you open the knife via the thumb stud or flipper. The back of the handle has an extra blocking mechanism, to make sure it does not open inadvertently. So before you can open the knife, it must be unlocked.
