The **Böker Vigtig vs. Wild** is a well-designed bushcraft knife. The knife was designed by two YouTubers who participated in the survival programme 7 vs. Wild, for which they needed to survive in the Canadian wilderness for 14 days. As a challenge, the contestants could only take items fitting inside a 1-litre bottle. That's why the handle of the knife has a hollow space, to take more items. 

## CPM MagnaCut steel blade

The blade is made of CPM MagnaCut steel with a full-tang construction. This steel is a stainless type of tool steel, with a toughness and sharpness retention comparable to carbon steels such as CPM-CruWear, CPM-4V and Vanadis 4. The corrosion resistance of MagnaCut steel is also sublime. This steel also ensures the knife can stay super sharp for 14 days regardless of heavy-duty tasks.

The back of the blade is sharpened at a 90-degree angle, so you can use it for scraping. The part where you place your thumb when applying force is not sharpened. This has been well-thought-out, so that even after prolonged use the knife is comfortable to use. 

## Micarta handle

Micarta was chosen for the handle, again to improve reliability. The handle scales are hollow inside to have more storage space. This is useful when the knife needs to fit inside a bottle but also for any survival situation. You access this storage space by unscrewing the screws with a little coin.
