Böker calls the Plus Rold Black a true camping knife. We think that, even if the cozy camping trip leads to a true survival tour you will be very satisfied with this fixed knife. The blade is made of extremely strong D2 steel. The knife is razor sharp when it comes from the factory. The blade is also equipped with a somewhat rough-feeling and extremely durable coating that makes the steel virtually 100% rust resistant.  
   


The handle is made of dark green micarta with a nice drawing. Between the steel and micarta you see the familiar red fiber plates by Jesper Voxnæs. Looks nice. Two large holes are made for a lanyard. And if necessary this knife can be tied to a stick and also be used as a spear.  
   
 

A kydex sheath and belt clip are included in delivery. The belt clip can be attached with screws and the width for the belt can be set to a maximum of 5.5 cm.

Het mes is op eerste indruk zeer goed gemaakt en kwam vlijmscherp uit de doos. 
Voor mensen die bezorgd zijn om het schede mijn schede paste  
goed en het mes ratelde er niet in.
Als je een mes wilt dat er goed uit ziet, zwaardere taken aankan en betrouwbaar is dan is dit mes voor jouw

Das Messer kommt in einer hochwertigen aber relativ edlen schwarzen Verpackung, die Scheide sitzt wie angegossen und ist trotz kunstoffiger Anmutung solide und durch die Ösen flexibel tragbar.

Bei einem ersten Outdoor-Einsatz war z.B. Batoning dank langer und äußerst solider Klinge (61° Rockwell!) ein Kinderspiel. 

Kleinere Schnitzarbeiten gelingen dann extrem hoher Auslieferungsschärfe sehr gut, dabei hilft die "Griffmulde" am Heft auf der unteren Klingenseite.

Das Messer ist im Vergleich zu ESEE 4 bei deutlich größerer Klingenlänge eher leicht. Die Handhabung und Balance gefällt mir persönlich sehr gut.

Auf der Beschichtung sind schnell Spuren der Arbeit zu sehen, es ist aber auch ein echtes Werkzeug. Wer das nicht möchte, sollte zur unbeschichten Klinge greifen.

Der Griff ist formschön und sehr ergonomisch für meine mittelgroßen Hände, die mitgelieferte und bereits befestigte Schlaufe ermöglicht extrem hinterlastiges sichereres Greifen für Hau-und Hackarbeiten. Hierbei hilft das sich aufweitende Griffende extrem!
Wegen des nicht allzu großen Gewichts wirkt es dabei jedoch nicht wuchtig oder massiv. Zwei sehr große Ösen (eher Tunnel ;-)) im Griff erlauben selbst eine Montierung als Speerspitze oder ähnliches.

Für die Scheide würde ich einen Stern abziehen, da das Messer selbst (entscheidend für mich) aber gerade zum Preis von 140 € EXTREM gut ist, finde ich 5 Sterne voll angemessen.

Die Lebenslange Garantie und das mir sehr zusagenden Design runden den Gesamteindruck positiv ab!

j'ai donc reçu mon Böker + Rold , aspect conforme au descriptif, bonne impression de solidité de la lame , belle qualité de finition, excellente prise en main , tranchant rasoir qui a l'air durable après plusieurs sorties 
déçu par la qualité de l'étui, le couteau ballote un peu dedans..
ca correspond à l'image de ce que j'attend d'un couteau de outdoor 

Prachtig middelgroot mes voor een goede prijs. De zwarte coating slijt er uiteraard wel een beetje af bij intensief gebruik.
Het mes houdt zich perfect in de hand bij grover en door de wijsvingerboog ook bij het fijnere werk.
