Lightweight, compact and very useful for short term bushcraft trips. A great hacking tool and for splitting smaller logs for kindling but if you really need to process timber on longer bushcraft trips you need a heavier wedge shaped hatchet. For shorter trips when space and weight is a factor this is a perfect bushcraft tool.
