The **Böker Manufaktur Stainless 140540** is a top-quality straight razor. Böker has been producing straight razors for over a hundred years and has an excellent reputation in this field. This *straight razor* is made in the Böker workshop in Solingen, Germany. In terms of shapes this razor looks a lot like the King Cutter. This stainless version is great for everyone who doesn't want to spend too much time on maintenance.



This straight razor has an *extra hollow* grind with a *ridge*. The extra hollow grind gives you an extremely thin edge which is also a little flexible. This razor is amazing to work with but perhaps not as suited for heavy beard growth. The *ridge* ensures that the spine of the blade is thick enough to be blocked by the handle. In addition, the spine provides support when determining the right sharpening angle while stropping and sharpening.



The handle is made from black plastic. The nickel-silver Böker logo was placed in the side and polished. On the blade you will find a 'Stainless' engraving. On both sides of the tang, in between the edge and the handle, grip serrations were added. As such you have a lot of control over the shaving movements.
