Full description
The Böker Manufaktur Solingen Barlow Prime Tirpitz Damast is an exclusive and remarkable pocket knife. The blade is made from damascus steel. A pocket knife with damascus steel? We have more of those, you might say. You are right. Unique, however, is that this damascus steel was forged with steel from the Tirpitz. The name Tirpitz might sound familiar, especially when you think of the history books about the Second World War. Tirpitz is the name of the sister ship of the Bismarck. To this day, the largest European warship ever built. This ship sank off the coast of Norway in 1944. Divers resurfaced parts of the ship's special steel for Böker, and Böker asked Andreas Henrich's to turn it into carbon damask steel. That steel was used for this knife. A piece of history within your reach.
