The **Benchmade Crooked River 15080BK-191 Gold Class 2019** is an exceptional knife from the Benchmade hunting knife collection. Each year Benchmade selects a product and replaces all of it with top-quality materials. The Gold Class is for Benchmade a way of showing what they are capable of. These knives are made by Benchmade's most skilled craftsmen. This special Gold Class Crooked River is one of the coolest in the Gold Class to date.

 The blade has a classic clippoint shape and is made from 20CV steel with a super neat DLC coating. You can open the blade with the blue anodized thumb rest. Once opened, the blade is held securely in place by the well-known Axis lock. In addition to the thumb rest, Benchmade added the number of this limited edition.

 The handle is truly phenomenal. You hardly know where to start looking. The bolsters are made from Damasteel, with a vinland pattern. A fairly random pattern that might remind you of wood grains or running water. For the scales Benchmade opted for a beautiful unidirectional carbon fibre. The liners and backspacer are enhanced with a cracked ice-finish. This finish is made by applying small facets with a dremel and then polishing them. Because each facet has a different angle, this finish beautifully plays with the light. The backspacer and pocket clip have a blue anodized finish, just like the thumb rest. It is in beautiful contrast with the rest of the knife.

 The cherry on top is that the Benchmade Crooker River Gold Class comes in a luxurious box that can also serve as a knife stand.
