This **Beavercraft S02 Spoon Carving Set** is a set for amateur wood carvers who want to carve spoons. It contains everything you need to get started with carving spoons; a versatile detailing wood carving knife and a right-handed hook knife for hollowing out the bowl of a spoon. ## About the wood carving knife

### Blade made from 65G carbon steel

BeaverCraft uses 65G carbon steel to make their tools. This is a tough type of steel that is easy to sharpen. The blade is cut to size by lasers to ensure extreme precision.

### Ash wood handle

The handle is made from ash wood, a hard type of wood that feels great in hand.
