The **Bark River Rascal II** is a compact and slim fixed knife. Designed for hunting purposes, gutting game, but it can also function as a bird & trout knife. Even as an EDC knife the Rascal II will always be there for you.

 Please note: we mostly measure the blade from the front of the handle to the blade. In this case 7.7 cm. We would, however, also like to mention that the blade itself (the part enhanced with the grind) is 5.9 cm long.

 The blade is made from CPM 154. A premium type of stainless steel that retains its sharpness well. As you might expect from Bark River the knife is razor-sharp. The edge has been enhanced with a convex grind which you can [maintain by stropping it](/en/ct/stropping.htm).

 The handle is made from canvas micarta. A strong and light-weight material, made from linen and synthetic resin. Feels comfortable in hand, even in wet or cold circumstances.

 The Bark River Rascal II comes with a leather belt sheath. You can carry the sheath both left-handed and right-handed on your belt (max. belt width 4.5 cm).

 Bark River makes all of its knives almost completely by hand. As such each knife is unique. Especially when you are working with natural materials a knife can differ from the photographs. The knife you receive can therefore be subtly different from the product photos. The model and type of material, however, will always be the same.
