Autine Trail Boss, hand forged axe

The Autine Trail Boss is a large yet remarkably lightweight axe. Given its size, you'd expect the axe to be much heavier. The long cutting edge and relatively thin head almost make it more of a carpenter's axe. Ideal for smoothing beams. At the same time, this axe's light weight make it an attractive option for camping trips where you want to split lighter wood to make kindling. For heavier splitting tasks, we prefer a real splitting axe.
