That's why we asked Böker for a different handle material: micarta! This material is made from canvas and synthetic resin and offers plenty of grip. We think this material is a fantastic choice for handles. You can clearly see the texture of the layers of textiles in the material. And even better: when using a pocket knife with a micarta handle, you will notice that the handle gets darker. This is due to the grease in your hands, among other things. This is a normal process that makes each knife unique in time! A special quality of micarta is that it offers great grip even in wet conditions. Arguably, it's even more grippy when wet than when it's dry.

Like the standard version, the blade is made from 440C steel. This is a good type of stainless steel that retains its sharpness well and is easy to sharpen when the time comes. Never change a winning team.
